Marea (b. Holidaze 6, 13453 AI) is a Sixth Age Imrhys woman. She is the daughter of Constanza and the sister of Amila. Marea has been the Premier Scholar of Avalonia.
Awakening[]
Marea was asleep in the Castle of Avalonia. She had a terrible nightmare. While still sleeping, she summoned the massive power surge of an Imrhys Awakening and blasted a hole through the ceiling and the two floors and roof above her. The blast of light is seen from every known country on the Achar. When Constanza tried to wake the newly Awakened Imrhys, she was unable to. The Orb split in two, half staying with Constanza as the Orb of Wonder, the half going to Marea as the Orb of Avalonia. Fragments of the ceiling rain down over Avalonia and North Hagan every Ipsen 3rd. This meteor shower is now called the Sleeping Scholar's Shower. The Fourth Gnarrhys War[]
On Ronolom 28, 13708 AI, Zierath, Kuker, Palomino, Sir Angus MacBain, and Julieklein the Light of the Achar searched for Avalonia. Zierath used theEmerald Claymore to summon Avalonia. Marea greets them and agrees to help. Marea leads them to the KNS Enterprise and Captain Shappell who had been hunting the Jolly Elmo, the Manicotti, and Kerkove. The living ship hid beneath the Enterprise. Zierath, Palomino, Kuker, and Sir Angus MacBain return to the Jolly Elmo and continue on their way. (Zierath: Lord of the Alliance chap 26)
On Santil 5, Avalonia was hijacked again, this time by Ka'Senne and the Copper Shield. Ka'Senne took Marea and Tanyadee to the Isles of Metcalf to heal Zierath, who had been injured by the Dathrhys lord Boratch.
